Frequently Asked Questions
What items do you take that the city's free bulky pickup won't?
TVs, computer monitors, and tires are all explicitly excluded from Hesperia's Bulky Item Pick-Up Program. We take TVs and computer monitors as part of standard appliance and electronics pickups. Oil and paint are also excluded from the city program — those are household hazardous waste and need to go through proper HHW disposal channels regardless of who's hauling.
How is this different from the City of Hesperia's Bulky Item Pick-Up Program?
The city program is free, but it caps single-family households at 4 pickups and 8 items per year, requires at least a week's notice, and needs items curbside by 6:00 AM on the assigned day. We don't have an annual cap, we can often schedule same-day or next-day, and we come to wherever the items actually are — garage, shed, backyard — not just the curb. It's a paid service, quoted before we start. See the full comparison on our junk removal page.
Do you offer same-day or next-day junk removal in Hesperia?
Often, yes, depending on the day's schedule. Call or text 760-492-7712 and we'll let you know what's available.
What items can't be picked up (hazardous materials, etc.)?
We don't handle hazardous materials — asbestos, chemicals, or other regulated waste that requires special certification to transport and dispose of. Liquids like oil and paint fall into household hazardous waste and need dedicated HHW disposal rather than standard hauling. If you're unsure whether something qualifies, ask when you call.
Do I need to be present during the pickup?
It's easiest if you're there to point out what's going and answer any questions, especially on a mixed job. For simple, clearly-defined pickups we can sometimes work out other arrangements — ask when you call or text.
How does pricing work / how do I get a quote?
Call or text us with a description or a few photos of what needs to go, and we'll quote it before anything is scheduled. Pricing depends on volume, weight, and how accessible the items are. We don't publish flat rates because every job is different, but you'll always have a price before we start.
Do you handle full property or estate cleanouts?
Yes. See our garage, shed & property cleanouts page for how we approach larger jobs, including estate cleanouts.
Can you remove items from a garage, shed, or backyard — not just curbside?
Yes. Unlike the city's curbside-only bulky program, we come to wherever the items are — inside the garage, in a shed, or in the backyard.
Do you recycle or donate usable items?
We aim to keep usable items out of the landfill where it makes sense, donating or recycling what still has life in it, and taking the rest to the San Bernardino County Landfill. We won't claim a certification or formal diversion rate we can't back up.
Do you serve HOA communities like Spring Valley Lake?
Yes. If your community has rules about curb placement or timing, mention it when you call so we can plan the pickup around it — see our residential junk removal page for more.
Do you offer commercial or after-hours pickups for businesses?
Yes. See our commercial junk removal page — we can often schedule after-hours or weekend pickups to avoid disrupting business hours.
What areas of Hesperia and the High Desert do you serve?
Hesperia itself — including Mesa Linda, Topaz, and the Main Street and Ranchero Road corridors — plus the immediately adjacent unincorporated communities of Oak Hills and Spring Valley Lake. Full details on our service area page.
